East German border guards stand near segments that were removed to create a new passage. As a homage to President Reagan, German officials delivered a similar chunk — a 6,338-pound, 9½-foot tall monster, actually — for display at his library and museum. Colorful graffiti features a large butterfly on its ‘West’ side, while stark gray concrete is on its ‘East’ side.
