Kelli Ward, who is looking to unseat incumbent Sen. Jeff Flake, R-Ariz., in the GOP primary is featuring clips of President Donald Trump's recent rally in a new campaign ad.
The 45-second ad, called "Naming Jeff Flake," is part of a five-figure digital buy from the Ward campaign, The Hill reported.
But campaign officials also are looking at a few national cable television spots, according to the Hill.
The ad starts off with Trump at the Arizona rally this week saying: "Please, Mr. President, don't mention any names. Nobody wants me to talk about your other senator, who is weak on borders, weak on crimes, so I won't talk about him."
It then switches to a shot of Ward, who adds: "The president doesn't need to name names because I will. Jeff Flake is weak and he's failed us in the Senate."
The Hill noted Trump has not officially endorsed Ward. However, he has tweeted his support for her effort.
