Fox News host Kimberly Guilfoyle is in the running for the White House press secretary position, Politico reported.
Guilfoyle, who joined Fox News in 2006, does not have political experience. She currently is a co-host on the "The Five," and also offers legal and political analysis on other shows. She is still serving in those roles, despite meeting with President-elect Donald Trump's transition team three times.
Sean Spicer, the Republican National Committee's communication director, is the frontrunner for the position, but some in Trump's circle are still pushing for Guilfoyle, Politico reported. There is also consideration of splitting the duties between Spicer and Guilfoyle.
But Guilfoyle is not likely to take the position if it is for a part-time role, a source told Politico.
