While closing out its daily broadcast from a coffee shop at the Mizner Park shopping center in Boca Raton, Fla. a crowd booed a 9-year-old after she expressed support for Governor Mitt Romney to win the presidential election.
The young Romney fan was brought out by Mika Brzezinski, co-host of MSNBC’s “Morning Joe,” during the “What Did You Learn?” closing segment and garnered the swift response from about 30 people after quickly answering with the candidate she wants to win in November.
“You’re a wise, wise girl,” show namesake Joe Scarborough told her through the booing. “I’m with you.”
The Palm Beach Post reported that earlier in the morning, Brzezinksi spotted a 4-year-old decked out in red, white, and blue who told the hosts that she hoped President Barack Obama would win re-election “because he was a good President.”
While reviewing Monday night’s presidential debate, the show sought the views of many in the crowd watching, some of whom had been waiting for the broadcast to start as early as 3:30 a.m.
