Sen. Marco Rubio on Tuesday made fun of the attention being paid to what appeared to be an awkward hug between him and Ivanka Trump before their meeting on "pro-family" tax reform.

The fuss all started when Twitter users started making fun of a photo posted by a reporter from the Associated Press of Rubio greeting Trump on Capitol Hill ahead of their meeting.

Rubio then tweeted: "Just left Intel comm & informed meeting 2day with @IvankaTrump blowing up twitter over alleged failed hug! Investigating. Will respond soon."

Rubio tweeted later he had photographic evidence that would "shed greater details on this incident," including, perhaps, a "multi-angle video."

He also asked for help from others in the "active investigation."

Trump also went on Twitter to poke fun at the attention.
