Kim Kardashian has purchased a Cartier watch that was owned by former first lady Jackie Kennedy.
The reality starlet anonymously bid on the timepiece at a New York auction and scooped it up for $379,500, TMZ reported. It features an engraving — Feb. 23, 1963 — and was reportedly gifted to Jackie O by her brother-in-law Prince Stanislaw "Stas" Radziwill, according the celebrity gossip site.
According to the New York Post's Page Six, the engraving commemorates "a hike the prince participated in to support President Kennedy’s goal of making Americans healthier. It took place about nine months before Kennedy was assassinated."
Kardashian could have something else in common with Jackie O if her husband, rapper Kanye West, follows through on the presidential ambitions he announced in August 2015.
"I have decided in 2020 to run for president," West told the crowd as he accepted the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award at the MTV Video Music Awards.
