Chris Soules, star of ABC's "The Bachelor," has been revealed as the mystery final contestant for the upcoming 20th season of "Dancing With the Stars."

The 33-year-old farmer from Iowa will choose a bride from his two final women on next week's finale of "The Bachelor," and after that Soules is headed to the ballroom, People magazine confirmed Thursday. He will partner with reigning champion Witney Carson, who brought home the Mirrorball Trophy with "Fresh Prince of Bel Air" star Alfonso Ribeiro last season.

Soules told E! News last month that he would jump at the opportunity to dance if given a chance.

"I went through 'The Bachelorette' and never thought I'd do that and did it and it was a great experience. Now being the Bachelor, it's been an extraordinary experience . . . I'm open to a lot of opportunities, I'd be willing to consider these sort of things," he said. "But I'm going to do what's best for me and do what's right and what I feel is right for my future."

As a fan favorite, Soules became the star of the 19th season of "The Bachelor" after he was eliminated by Andi Dorfman on "The Bachelorette."

Despite People's confirmation, an ABC Network spokesperson declined to comment on Soules' appearance on the show.

Soules will follow in the footsteps of other "Bachelor" stars who have two-stepped on "Dancing With the Stars," like Jake Pavelka, Sean Lowe, and former Dallas Cowboys cheerleader Melissa Rycroft.
