The war of words between Sen. Lisa Murkowski, R-Alaska, and Joe Miller, who beat her in the primary, is intensifying. A new Murkowski ad has hit the radio waves blasting Miller for a now-deleted posting on Twitter in which he contemplates his assumed move to Washington, The Hill reports.

murchowski, miller, tweeting, Alaska“Think I’ll do some house hunting while I’m in DC" for meetings and fundraising events, Miller tweeted Thursday. "Guess I should pick up some office furniture as well ... Then there's the matter of a name plaque for the door.”

The posts were blamed on a volunteer.

But Murkowski would have none of it. "While in Washington collecting money from all those 'insiders' all week, Joe tweeted that he was going to do some house-hunting, buy office furniture and get a name plaque for his Senate office door," her ad says.

"Wait a minute, Joe ... you might want to wait until you hear from the 88 percent of us back here in Alaska who didn't vote for you. That plaque on the door still reads: Mur-kow-ski."
