If you find yourself bored one rainy afternoon, peruse the website PoliticsTweet.com, which offers a running list of tweets from every politician in the country. But only if you're really, really bored.

That's no offense to the site, which is very handy for politicos and pundits. But to anyone with a life beyond the wonky world of politics, scrolling through tweet after tweet by tie-strangled, suit-stuffed city councilmen and state controllers might push you into a coma.

That's because most elected officials keep their tweets entirely professional. While politics may be exciting, government is banal. That, and most of these tweets read like geek code from "WarGames."
