I'm told a lady never reveals her age, but I'm rarely one to hew to convention. So here it is: I'm 31.
And, to add insult to injury, I'm going to reveal another. My grandmother just turned 90.
This isn't my nod to the census — I'm telling you this because I've been thinking. About stuff. That's what I do for a living. And, yes, my grandmother is very proud.
But I'm not so sure she should be. Let me start from the beginning.
