TRENTON — New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie plans to campaign with Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker, who is facing a recall election because of his moves to eliminate collective bargaining rights.

On Tuesday, he will stand shoulder to shoulder with Walker, who on June 5 will become the first governor in Wisconsin to face a recall election, reports NJ.com, the website for the Star-Ledger in Newark.

Christie’s campaign stops include Green Bay and Milwaukee, the Star-Ledger reported.

Christie campaigned for Walker in 2010, when he traveled the country promotinghis plan to take on New Jersey’s public employee unions by reining in pension and health benefit costs.
