Potential GOP presidential candidate and tea party darling Sarah Palin has cut short her “One Nation” bus tour, reports Real Clear Politics.

The former Alaska governor’s preliminary itinerary scheduled her to go through the Midwest and Southeast this month. But the Palin family decided to head back to Alaska early.

Although pundits are wondering what the early end to the tour may imply about whether she will run for president, Palin herself has said the decision is not imminent.

Three weeks ago, during the infancy of the bus tour, Palin said it would be weeks before she made a formal announcement about entering the race for the GOP nomination. Husband Todd also reiterated that a final decision is “a long ways away.”
