Newsweek magazine is up for sale, but three media titans reportedly have no interest in adding it to their portfolios.
According to Yahoo.com's The Newsroom blog, billionaires Rupert Murdoch, Carlos Slim and Philip Anschutz all have rejected any possibility of buying the magazine, which is owned by The Washington Post Co.
Murdoch is the head of News Corp. Slim is a telecom mogul and the world's richest man. Anschutz is a Denver-based publishing tycoon.
However, there are at least some interested parties. According to Newsweek editor Jon Meacham, two billionaires have made overtures about possibly purchasing the money-losing newsweekly.
