WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The vast majority of Senate Republicans are expected to back a deal with President Barack Obama to extend Bush-era tax cuts for two years, Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell said Tuesday.

McConnell spoke to reporters following a meeting with his fellow Republicans where the tax deal outline by Obama on Monday was discussed. He said the "vast majority" would vote for the proposal. (Reporting by Donna Smith; Editing by Paul Simao)
