Rahm: Quitting Story is 'B.S.'

Monday, 21 June 2010 10:31 PM EDT

White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel said a report that he is going to quit his job is “B.S., or as the English like to say, baseless.”

The response came in the form of an emailed response to CBS News chief White House Correspondent Chip Reid.

Citing unnamed "Washington insiders," the London Telegraph reported that Emanuel is expected to quit within six to eight months. The paper said that Emanuel, a pragmatist, was tired of fighting with Obama’s ideological inner circle.
