To borrow from a famous line in “Airplane,” the cult movie classic, “I picked a bad week to be Barbara Boxer.” "Airplane" director David Zucker has now directed an ad against the Democratic California senator, teasing her for scolding an Army brigadier general last year when he called her "ma'am,"
The Hill reports.

In addition to "Airplane," Zucker directed "Naked Gun" and "Scary Movie" among others.
Right Change, a 527 and 501(c)4 organization, is financing the ad. Right Change is "committed to supporting policies and candidates dedicated to fiscal responsibility and a strong national security for the United States, while upholding the principles of freedom, competitiveness and entrepreneurial spirit of the American people."
Zucker has described himself as a "9/12 Republican," who bolted the Democrats over worries about national security but remains liberal on environmental and social issues.
