Obama Visits Hospitalized Bob Dole

Former GOP Sen. Bob Dole got a surprise visit from a high-profile visitor this week: President Barack Obama.

According to Politico.com, Obama was at Walter Reed Army Medical Center on Tuesday visiting wounded troops. Dole, a World War II veteran, was a patient at the hospital after knee surgery.

The two men had a friendly visit in the company of Dole's wife and a physician.
