Young Challenge Obama: 'Where's Your Medicare Plan?'

Conservative organizations Let Freedom Ring and the College Republican National Committee launched the website WheresYourPlan.com on Tuesday to challenge President Barack Obama and spur debate on Medicare reform among young Americans.

Alex Cortes, the 22-year-old director of Let Freedom Ring, told DailyCaller.com that his generation has the most to lose if Medicare collapses. “Failing to demonstrate leadership with a plan to fix Medicare is simply accepting bankruptcy as an acceptable future,” he said.

Democrats have gone on the offensive against House Budget Chairman Rep. Paul Ryan, R-Wis., who is sponsoring a reform plan, but so far have not come up with an alternative.

An open letter on the site urges President Barack Obama to devise a Medicare plan: “We’re the generation with the biggest stake in the Medicare reform debate,” it reads. “Medicare trustees report it will be bankrupt in 13 years. We want Medicare for our generation if we're going to be forced to pay into the program. You don’t have a plan to make it solvent. The GOP does. Mr. President: Where’s Your Plan?”
