Let Freedom Ring, GOP, RepublicansAlex Cortes, the 22-year-old director of Let Freedom Ring, told DailyCaller.com that his generation has the most to lose if Medicare collapses. “Failing to demonstrate leadership with a plan to fix Medicare is simply accepting bankruptcy as an acceptable future,” he said.

College Republicans, Obama, MedicareDemocrats have gone on the offensive against House Budget Chairman Rep. Paul Ryan, R-Wis., who is sponsoring a reform plan, but so far have not come up with an alternative.

An open letter on the site urges President Barack Obama to devise a Medicare plan: “We’re the generation with the biggest stake in the Medicare reform debate,” it reads. “Medicare trustees report it will be bankrupt in 13 years.
