WASHINGTON (AP) — The top House Republican says it's an uphill fight for his party to regain a majority from Democrats in the November elections.
Ohio Rep. John Boehner says the GOP has a "great opportunity" to pick up more seats, but winning a majority will be tough. Democrats now hold a 255-178 edge in the House, with two vacancies.
He predicts that tea party members as well as independents and some Democrats will vote for Republican candidates. Boehner tells CBS' "Face the Nation" that "this is a rebellion like I've never seen."
