Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., wants to see the fight against Libyan strongman Muammar Gadhafi intensified. Bomb Tripoli, and bomb it hard, he says, according to Politico
Gadhafi and his top aides should "wake up every day wondering, ‘Will this be my last?'" Graham told CNN. "My recommendation to NATO and to the administration is to cut the head of the snake off, go to Tripoli, start bombing Gadhafi’s inner circle, their compounds, their military headquarters in Tripoli."
The best way to force Gadhafi out of power is to make his top staff members rebel, “and that’s going to take a sustained effort through an air campaign," says Graham, one of the Senate’s leading Republican voices on foreign policy.
