Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani says there's still time for him to enter the race for the 2012 Republican presidential nomination --
and he's seriously considering it,
Politico reports.
“My thinking is that I still have time to decide. So I’m going to take it … the race is developing very slowly compared to, maybe not necessarily historical races, but compared to 2007, which is what I’m used to,” said Giuliani, who ran for president in 2008. “My focus when I sit down to decide will be, do I think any of the people running, or a few of them, have a good chance of beating President Obama or not?”
Giuliani would likely target New Hampshire as the centerpiece of his 2012 strategy, aiming to win over fiscal conservatives and independents.
Giuliani will make his decision by Labor Day.
