Many Republicans continue to question whether President Barack Obama was born in the United States. But likely presidential candidate
Mitt Romney isn’t one of them,
Politico reports.

"I think the citizenship test has been passed. I believe the president was born in the United States,” the former Massachusetts governor told CNBC. “There are real reasons to get this guy out of office, but his citizenship isn't the reason why."
Real estate mogul/reality TV star Donald Trump, another potential Republican presidential candidate, has vigorously raised the issue in recent weeks. One must be born in the United States to qualify for president. A recent Fox News poll showed that 24 percent of voters believe Obama was born outside this country and that 10 percent aren't sure.
