Jon Huntsman’s daughters have added their own smokin’ take to the 2012 GOP presidential campaign, with a spoof ad jabbing at the viral smoking ad of Herman Cain’s chief of staff.
Billing themselves as the Jon2012 girls, Liddy, Abby, and Mary Anne noted on “Face the Nation” on CBS today that their dad’s Republican campaign is calling them its “secret weapon.”
Story continues below video.
The former Utah governor’s twentysomething daughters, who acknowledge that they are “shameless” in promoting their father’s campaign, spoof Mark Block’s video with one of their own, including the song "I Am America" in the background.
Of course, they’ve got to use fake mustaches because they don’t have Block’s facial hair, and they blow bubbles instead of smoke.
"We're always up to something," Abby told “Face the Nation” host Bob Schieffer.
When Schieffer asked whether they might have a sequel, Liddy noted coyly: "Something might be coming. You'll have to tune in.”
