Rep. Weiner's Wife Goes MIA

"I love my wife very much, and we have no intention of splitting up over this," Rep. Anthony Weiner, D-N.Y., told reporters. "We have been through a great deal together, and we will weather this. I love her very much, and she loves me." But Huma Abedin, wife of the lawmaker who emailed suggestive photos to six women, was conspicuous by her absence at her shamed husband’s teary press conference this week, according to a Time.com report.

Abedin, former senior aide to Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and married to Weiner since last July, has been speaking volumes with her body English recently.

Last Friday when her husband was still trying to spin rather than confess, she attended a State Department event where it is noted that she never smiled and avoided the former first lady before leaving early.

Abedin is now being compared with Maria Shriver and Elizabeth Edwards, who initially stood by their straying husbands, but later walked away.
