Former GOP Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty will have a chance to prove his conservative bona fides next week. The likely presidential candidate has garnered a featured speaking role at the Tea Party Patriots’ American Policy Summit, which will be held Feb. 25-27 in Phoenix, Politico reports.

“With more than 3,000 affiliated organizations across the county, this summit will be an important opportunity for Tea Party Patriots to come together to celebrate and recommit to the ideals and values that are responsible for the dramatic victories in the November election,” the group's national coordinator, Jenny Beth Martin, said in a statement.
