Rep. Ryan: Obama Plays ‘Class Warfare’

Budget Committee Chairman Paul Ryan says while the House GOP budget plan is a “path to prosperity,” President Barack Obama’s economic vision pits people against each other, Politico reports.

“We sincerely believe that our budget repairs the safety social net and repairs our economy,” Ryan said Sunday on CNN’s “State of the Union.” “It is the right vision and we believe it is what Americans want.

“We believe the president’s economic vision and the speeches he’s been giving are speeches in which they pit people against each other, play class warfare, [and] envy economics — which is bad economics,” he said.
