Gingrich Denies Racism Charges

Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich says his characterization of Newt Gingrich, Barack ObamaPresident Barack Obama as a “food stamp president” is not racist, according to Politico.

“What I said is factually true,” Gingrich said Sunday on NBC’s “Meet the Press.” “And to hide behind the charge of racism? I have never said anything about President Obama which is racist.”

In his address to the Georgia GOP convention on Friday, Gingrich had called Obama as the “most successful food stamp president in history.”
