Daniels: I Might Have Beaten Obama

Although Indiana Gov. Mitch Daniels is not running for president in Mitch Daniels, Barack Obama, 2012 Presidential Election2012, he still claims he could have defeated President Barack Obama had he gotten the GOP nod, Politico says.

“Yes, I think so,” Daniels said when asked Sunday whether he could have beaten Obama on ABC’s “This Week.” “I mean no one can know.”

Daniels said that his decision to not run was based on his family’s desire for privacy and security.
