There's "enough room for a lot of contenders" to take on President Barack Obama, she told ABC's "Good Morning America" Tuesday.
Bachmann considers Palin a "friend," rather than a "competitor," but says she has no problem competing against that friend.
"I compare myself to Barack Obama, not any other of the Republican candidates," Bachmann said.
“And I think there's no question that in 2012, the Republicans will field a wide bench of contenders against President Obama. I think the comparisons will be very favorable."
