A gay-rights activist hit Rep. Michelle Bachmann with a shower of glitter on Saturday night in Minneapolis. But it hardly slowed the

Republican presidential candidate, the
Minneapolis Star Tribune reports.
Bachmann was walking across a stage after addressing the Right Online blogger conference when the Minneapolis gay-rights activist Rachel E.B. Lang came toward her and tossed glitter all over Bachmann.
But Bachmann never broke stride and never lost eye contact wih the people she had been walking toward.
Lang was escorted away by security. She said she was upset with Bachmann's "hateful and anti-gay rhetoric."
Former Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty was the victim of a glitter attack on Thursday in San Francisco. So was Newt Gingrich and his wife during a May appearance in Minneapolis.
