Rush Limbaugh said Democratic Whip Dick Durbin’s concession Thursday that President Barack Obama’s $447 billion jobs bill does not have enough Democratic votes to overcome an expected filibuster is the latest blow to an already floundering administration.

“In the real world, everything is collapsing on Obama now,” the conservative talk-show host said. “With friends like this, Obama needs to start hanging around with Bev Perdue,” he said of the North Carolina governor who proposed delaying congressional elections for a couple of years so leaders can focus on the economy.

Limbaugh further harangued the Democratic Party for causing Bank of America to impose a monthly debit-card fee. He blamed the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act, passed in 2010.

“Every time the Democrats set out as a party to help…it’s the little guy that ends up getting shafted,” he said.

Bank of America recently announced it will begin charging customers $5 each month to use debit cards for purchases.

The banks are “finding a way around this new law,” he said of the measure sponsored by former Democratic Sen. Chris Dodd and Rep. Barney Frank, (D-Mass.)
