Two years ago, many pundits described Republican strategist Karl Rove, the man behind much of George W. Bush’s campaign success, as a has-been. Not so fast my friend. With Republicans’ fortunes on a steep rise, Rove is back in the high life again,
Politico reports.

Democrats’ fear of the ace strategist is evidenced by the fact that President Barack Obama and other top Democrats have called out Rove by name for orchestrating tens of millions of dollars in donations from outside conservative groups.
Even some conservatives criticize him, saying he’s trying to marginalize the tea party movement in favor of the GOP establishment.
And how does Rove feel about all this? “I’m having a lot of fun,” he tells Politico. As for the impact of the Democrats’ attacks, “It certainly hasn’t seemed to help up until now, has it?” Rove says.
