Issa: It’s Time to Revisit Climate Change

The time is right to have another look at the climate change issue after last year’s scandal over the massaging of data, says Rep. Darrell Issa, R-Calif., the ranking minority member of the House Oversight and Government Reform. And he vows to lead the way, The Hill reports.

Rep., Issa,  global, warming, revisit“That doesn’t mean that global warming isn’t happening,” Issa told The Hill. “It means that we have to make sure that when we recalibrate what’s happening, why it’s happening, how much it’s happening, we need to ensure that we get a careful relook at the figures so that we’re accurate.
It could be happening faster or slower. But it’s very clear that those people played fast and loose with both the truth and our money.”

Scientists at University of East Anglia in the United Kingdom sent Emails discussing ways to manipulate data to buttress the evidence of global warming.
