Gallup: Obama Approval Hits New Low of 38%

President Barack Obama’ job approval rating has slipped to 38 percent, its lowest level yet, according to a Gallup Poll released today.

Obama, approval, low, gallupThe daily tracking poll also found that 54 percent of Americans disapprove of the job Obama is doing. That was an increase of 1 percentage point from the previous week.

Last week, he hit 39 percent in the daily tracking poll, while his weekly average approval measured just 40 percent.

The poll of 1,500 adults nationwide that was released today was conducted Saturday-Monday.
