Real estate mogul Donald Trump says his he's seriously considering a run for president next year, and that he'll make a decision by June,
Politico reports.
“You know why they know my name?” Trump said. “Because of
success. That’s why they know my name, essentially.”
Trump said Sunday on CNN’s State of the Union” that he essentially has no choice but to throw his hat into the ring.
“I wish I didn’t have to do it. I would prefer not doing it. But I love this country. And if you asked me, what are the odds, I’ll let you know some time prior to June. But I will tell you, I am giving it serious, serious thought. And I’m honored by the polls, because people agree with what I’m saying. I am honored by the polls.”
Trump continues to lead by a wide majority in an
ongoing Newsmax poll.
