For a party and president that are being branded as anti-business, perhaps this isn’t the wisest campaign strategy. President Obama is leading Democrats in an assault against the U.S. Chamber of Commerce,
The Hill reports.
They’re calling the business group a corporate tool working against open elections and U.S. workers.

On Thursday Obama laid into the chamber for opposing legislation that would make corporations and unions reveal the names of contributors. Those comments came amid reports that the chamber is financing $10 million of ads this week, most voicing objections to Democrats and their policies.
“Just this week, we learned that one of the largest groups paying for these ads regularly takes in money from foreign corporations,” Obama said. “So groups that receive foreign money are spending huge sums to influence American elections, and they won’t tell you where the money for their ads comes from.”
