Then-Sen. Barack Obama’s 2006 vote against raising the debt limit was a mistake, White House senior adviser David Plouffe says,
according to Politico.
“He believes that vote was a mistake,” Plouffe said, when asked by “Fox News Sunday” host Chris Wallace about President Barack Obama’s 2006 vote.
Plouffe also said failing to raise the debt limit would put the economy at risk. “The debt limit obviously is something that needs to, and will. be passed.”
