Star Democratic Strategist James Carville is breaking out some heavy verbiage to push the party’s rank-and-file to donate to the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee.

Carville begins a fundraising email he wrote for the group like so: “Thought experiment: Picture Washington under total Tea Party control.”

Carville outlines a Democratic nightmare with Republicans in control of the Senate. “Mitch McConnell will privatize Social Security. Jim DeMint will end Medicare,” the adviser to former President Bill Clinton warns.

“And kiss the EPA goodbye since Tea Partiers think clean water tramples on their constitutional right to be poisoned. The Tea Party’s like kudzu – you give ’em an inch, they take MILES.”

Donors can “stick it to the tea party” by forking over last $5, Carville writes.
