Liz Cheney defended Republican Presidential candidate Herman Cain today, saying the tea party favorite is trying to get out the facts about sexual-harassment allegations dating to when he led the National Restaurant Association in the 1990s.
If Cain and his campaign staff continue to reveal the truth about the accusations, the conservative candidate should be able to rebound politically, the daughter of former Vice President Dick Cheney said on “Face the Nation” on CBS.
“I think it looks to me, from the outside, like he’s done a good part here toward getting facts out,” Cheney said. “It’s a really fine line. At some point, you know, you’ve got to say, ‘Look, here’s the deal, here’s the facts.’ I think he’s been trying to do that. But then you’ve got to move on.”
