Fox News host Bill O’Reilly says Pakistan’s actions following the killing of Osama bin Laden could be considered an “act of war” and deserve a cutoff of massive American aid to that country.

o'reilly, pakistan, arrestsCiting the Pakistani government’s arrest of five people thought to have helped the United States find bin Laden, and the $20 billion in American aid Pakistan has received since 9/11, O’Reilly said on Wednesday night’s “The O’Reilly Factor”:

“All we ask that country to do — all we ask — is that they cooperate in hunting down terrorists. Yet Pakistan continues to not cooperate and spit in the eye of America.”

He added: “You simply cannot arrest people who helped find bin Laden. That is an outrage. In another time, what Pakistan is doing would be considered an act of war. We would actually confront the country militarily, but not in this age.

“There is no way Pakistan should continue to receive American money while spitting in our eye.”
