Pelosi Draws Fire From Democrats

She's the woman Republicans love to hate. Now, after historic losses in the U.S. House, she's the woman that Democrats are also coming to revile. She's none other than House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.

Now that she's announced her intention to run for the highest post in her shrunken party — minority leader — she's become a lightning rod yet again, with some Democrats calling for her ouster.

I'm no fan of Pelosi's politics — but let's give credit where credit is due. She was an effective legislative leader. She helped get done what President Obama pledged. She helped enact historic legislation. So why blame her when she was just doing her job?
