DUBAI — A U.S. man was shot and wounded in eastern Saudi Arabia on Friday, state news agency SPA reported citing a police statement.

A vehicle carrying two people with U.S. citizenship was fired on in the Eastern Province district of al-Ahsa, SPA said. The wounded man was in a stable condition, it added.
