A U.S. Treasury Department official will visit the United Arab Emirates next week and hold talks with companies about non-compliance with U.S. sanctions on Iran, a State Department spokesperson told Reuters on Thursday.

The Treasury's director of the Office of Foreign Assets Control, Andrea Gacki, was due to arrive in the UAE on Monday and would warn companies that ongoing non-compliance puts them at risk, the spokesperson said.
