Britain said on Friday it would provide an additional 5 million pounds ($6.71 million) in emergency humanitarian funding to support the Caribbean region's recovery from Hurricane Melissa.

Earlier this week, it announced it was sending aid worth 2.5 million pounds. ($1 = 0.7451 pounds)
