The White House is monitoring the situation involving Russia and the Wagner force, and will be consulting with allies and partners on developments, National Security Council spokesperson Adam Hodge said on Friday.
The comment came after Moscow accused the founder of the mercenary force of armed mutiny. He has claimed, albeit without clear evidence, that top Russian brass killed large numbers of his people in air strikes, and is vowing retribution.
