Russia will respond in kind if the United States resumes nuclear tests, the TASS news agency reporte Friday, citing Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov.

Ryabkov also said Russia was not trying to influence the upcoming presidential election in the United States and had little hope for a thaw in bilateral relations even in the event of a victory for Donald Trump.
