Recent Russian strikes on Ukrainian energy infrastructure have caused "significant" damage to the country's gas sector, an industry source told Reuters on Thursday.

Earlier on Thursday, the CEO of Ukraine's state energy firm Naftogaz said that Russia had launched six major attacks on gas infrastructure so far in October.
