Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said Thursday that Moscow had not threatened the West with nuclear weapons and warned the West not to threaten Russia.

Lavrov made the comments at a news conference in Moscow at a time when Russia says it is locked in an existential struggle with the West over Ukraine and the shape of a future world order.
