Russia Claims Control of Hrodivka in Eastern Ukraine

Russia's Defense Ministry said Monday its forces had taken control of Hrodivka, a settlement in eastern Ukraine's Donetsk region, Russian state news agency RIA reported.

Hrodivka, located on the eastern approaches to the Ukrainian logistical hub of Pokrovsk, had a pre-war population of over 2,000 people.
