President Donald Trump is receiving global applause for working to end the Russia-Ukraine war, Russian ‍President Vladimir ‍Putin's special envoy Kirill Dmitriev ⁠said after the U.S. president met for ‍peace talks with Ukraine's ⁠President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on Sunday.

"The whole world appreciates President Trump ⁠and his ​team's peace ⁠efforts," Dmitriev, Russia's ‍special envoy for investment and ‌economic cooperation with foreign countries, ⁠wrote ​on ‍X.
